Annual Law Enforcement Memorial

The annual law enforcement memorial ceremony is set for 10 a.m. on Thursday, May 8, at Cape Bible Chapel in Cape Girardeau.Coffee and donuts will be served before the ceremony at 9 a.m.The event is organized by S.A.L.T., or Seniors and Lawmen Together.

Former CG Coroner Sentenced

Former Cape Girardeau County Coroner Wavis Jordan was sentenced to 12 years of probation in a hearing Wednesday, April 30, at the Cape Girardeau County Courthouse. He was also sentenced to pay a $250 fine according to an article in the Southeast Missourian.

Stoorm Relief Resource Centers
