In a shots fired case in Cape Girardeau in August in the 200 block of S. Pacific 26 year old Jac’quez Jackson fired at two people and ran. Police now have Jackson in custody in Cape Girardeau without bond.

Rhett Pierce, Cape Girardeau City Council member for Ward 5, has submitted his resignation from the City Council. Pierce was arrested Friday on charges related to a gun and drug trafficking.
