The Cape Girardeau Fire Department was called to the scene of a house fire Saturday afternoon at 1202 S Ellis Rear. When crews arrived on the scene the one-story home had heavy smoke and flames. No word yet on what casued the blaze. No one was in the house. The estimated damage is 50-thousand dollars.
