Missouri’s State Budget Director has announced that net general revenue collections for June 2024 increased 3.3 percent compared to those for June 2023, from $1.22 billion last year to $1.26 billion this year. Mississippi County Coroner Terry Parker says the body found in the Mississippi River is that of Rose Mary Weaver, 81 of Cape Girardeau. Weaver was claimed as a missing person by the Cape Girardeau Police Department last week and was last seen near Broadway and North Main Street on July 30.
