Transportation is available to the Scott City warming center for those in Cape Girardeau who may need a lift. According to Senior Pastor Bob Lenz with the Restoration Community Church, someone is offering transportation from the Cape Girardeau Salvation Army parking lot to the church’s warming center in Scott City.Organizers say the Salvation Army’s warming center will likely be closed until some time in January becasue the heat isn’t working.
