Governor Mike Parson has granted seven pardons according to the Constitution of the State of Missouri. Meanwhile in addition to granting seven pardons, Governor Parson denied 25 clemency applications. The Governor’s Office holds fewer than 100 pending clemency applications. When Governor Parson was sworn into office, he inherited a clemency backlog of more than 3,500 and has received hundreds more since.
