A utility worker had a medical emergency while driving in the Walden Park subdivision Wednesday morning. The vehicle collided with a residential garage. The driver was alone in the vehicle, and is expected to recover at a local hospital. No other injuries have been reported. The vehicle is owned by the City of Cape Girardeau, and the employee was on-duty with Alliance Water Resources, the City’s contracted partner for water system management.
