Carbondale police caught up with a man over the weekend who is now facing charges. Officers were called to the 2500 block of New Era Road on Friday night after learning that 25-year-old Ethan Hipps of Carbondale was allegedly firing rounds from a homemade gun in a home with a second adult and an infant inside.Police say Hipps surrendered peacefully and also had an active Jackson County warrant for failure to appear for unlawful restraint.
