According to the Southeast Missourian the Cape Girardeau City Council approved the first reading of an ordinance that accepts a general warranty deed for property by the Cape Girardeau Regional Airport.According to the agenda report, the deed is from the Patt Revocable Family Trust that is dated Nov. 21, 1994. City planner Ryan Shrimplin said the city had recently acquired two tracts from the trust that are adjacent to the airport.
