The Cape Girardeau County Sheriff’s Office arrested 38 year old Melynda Tollison of Cape Girardeau Monday for assaulting another woman.Tollison is being held in the Cape Girardeau County jail in lieu of a $25,000 bond.According to a probable-cause statement, authorities responded to a report of an assault when the victim told police she answered her door after hearing loud knocking in the morning.
