The Missouri State Highway Patrol reported five deadly crashes and 112 DWIs over the New Year’s holiday. Troopers say five people died and 87 were injured in 187 crashes between 6 p.m. on Wednesday, December 31 and 11:59 p.m. on Sunday, January 4.Compared to the 2024-2025 New Year’s holiday, one person died and 118 were injured in 264 crashes in the state.
