The Department of Economic Development (DED) announced today it has awarded a total of more than $16.7 million to 43 projects through the Community Development Block Grant (CDBG) Program’s Fiscal Year 2025 Competitive Cycle to assist with various improvement projects.The CIty of Caruthersville is receiving 500K for the Chrysler Exchange Building Project,the City of Kennett is receiving almost 50K for residential and commercial projects,the city of Puxico is getting 616K for drainage projects, Sikeston is receiving 200K for the demolition of the old Cornerstone Church Building and Vienna (vye-enna) is getting over 158K for the demolition of residential and commercial buildings
