The Cape Girardeau City Council could approve the purchase of a new pumper truck for the city’s Fire Department during today’s meeting.To authorize the purchase, City Council members need to approve $1,389,451.00 from the Public Safety Trust Fund II and Casino funds.Right now, the Cape Girardeau Fire Department uses six front-line trucks and three reserve trucks.
