There’s a new legal effort aimed at blocking new political maps in Missouri from being used in next year’s midterm election. On tuesday the ACLU filed a lawsuit in Cole County on behalf of two voters in Jackson County who would be impacted by the changes.The lawsuit comes weeks after advocates delivered boxes of petitions to the Secretary of State’s office looking to let Missouri voters weigh in on the redrawn districts.
