Jackson city leaders have approved the design of a new water tower for their 2026 budget.The tower is projected to cost $3 million and will be built on the east side of town, according to Jackson’s director of public works, Janet Sanders.Sanders said those in the Jackson community don’t have to worry about an increase in water bills due to this development. The city has reserved funds built over the years that will pay for the cost of this project.
