The Delta Regional Authority and the state of Missouri recently awarded about $4.2 million to 10 projects in the state including some nearby.Recipients include the Boys & Girls Club of Poplar Bluff awarded $509,000 to build a workforce development center that will serve as a hub for regional employment training, providing both youth-oriented activities and comprehensive educational opportunities that will encompass trade skills, life-skills development and community college coursework.
