On Christmas Day. Cape Girardeau County Dispatch received a 911 call reporting a structure filling with smoke on State Highway HH in Burfordville.Upon arrival, 3330 confirmed heavy smoke coming from the structure, 3330 established incident command and requested an additional Engine from Fruitland, Whitewater and Gordonville, essentially striking a second alarm.Incident Command confirmed all clear of the structure and Jackson Engine 13 went into offensive mode upon their arrival. Due to close proximity of a flush plug, tanker support was not needed. While the fire is still under investigation, based on initial findings, foul play is not suspected.
