A pedestrian was hit and killed while crossing a road in Butler County on Tuesday night. Emergency crews were called shortly before 6 p.m. to a crash involving a pedestrian at MO 53, about a mile south of Poplar Bluff.According to the Missouri State Highway Patrol, an SUV hit a man identified as a 67-year-old Poplar Bluff man, died at the scene.
