The Missouri Department of Natural Resources has awarded a $50,000 grant to the city of Oran to evaluate its wastewater system.According to the department, the Clean Water Engineering Report Grant program offers funding to qualified small communities to help with evaluating public wastewater system improvements.They say the grant will be used to identify wastewaters system improvements to continue reliable service to the area, meet permit requirements and reduce stormwater infiltration into sewer collection pipes.
