The City of Cape Girardeau Regional Airport (CGI) will host community members, and local leaders to a special ribbon-cutting ceremony today at 2pm celebrating the inaugural flight of Contour Airlines from Cape Girardeau to Dallas/Fort Worth International Airport (DFW). You’re invited to come and enjoy a ceremonial water cannon salute performed by the City of Cape Girardeau Fire Department, as well as remarks from special guest speakers.
