Ameren Missouri has announced an additional $25,000 contribution to its Veterans Fund in partnership with the United Way. Eligible customers, including active-duty military members and veterans, can apply today to receive up to $600 per household when facing challenges paying their energy bills.In total, more than $90,000 is now available through the Veterans Fund. Interested applicants should call the United Way at 2-1-1 or 1-800-427-4626 to apply. Applicants must provide proof of veteran or active-duty military status and either be past due, have disconnected service or be at risk of disconnection.
