The Cape Girardeau Civil Air Patrol (CAP) squadron, Trail of Tears Composite Squadron, will be holding an Amelia Earhart and Change of Command Ceremony. The Earhart Award marks completion of Phase III of the CAP Cadet Program, recognizing sustained excellence in all four areas of cadet life: leadership, aerospace, fitness, and character. The event is tonight from 6-8 pm at the Cape Girardeau Armory.
