Recently, the Cape Girardeau Fire Department responded to a one story structure fire at 208 S Middle Street.Crews arrived to find the home approximately 25% involved with fire coming out the windows. Crews quickly brought the fire under control and began the overhaul process for two more hours. Meanwhile, the fire is considered suspicious and is under investigation. The loss is estimated at 20-thousand dollars.
