A man from Cape Girardeau is facing felony charges after an incident in southern Illinois. 63-year-old David Weaver has been charged with grooming, indecent solicitation of a child and traveling to meet a child. Weaver was arrested by the West Frankfort Police Department following a private investigation by an online predator intervention group. He is currently being held at the Franklin County Jail without bond.
