22 year old Tanner Watkins acquitted of all charges in a deadly park shooting in Sikeston will now spend almost a decade behind bars for an assault stemming from a separate incident. According to court records, Watkins was sentenced to seven years in the Missouri Department of Corrections on Monday, August 18.In June, he pleaded guilty to second-degree assault for an incident that happened in January on North Silver Springs Road.
