The US 60/62 Mississippi River Bridge at Cairo is scheduled to be closed to all traffic for an annual safety inspection.The bridge over the Mississippi River connects Alexander County, Illinois, to Mississippi County. Weather permitting, the bridge will be closed daily from 7:30 a.m. to 4:30 p.m. on Monday, August 11, through Friday, Aug. 15.
