The Scott City police department put yellow ribbons on the patrol vehicles for April 14-19. According to the Scott City Police Department, the yellow ribbons recognize Missing Persons Week. They chose to put them on their patrol vehicles for Cheryl Anne Scherer, who went missing from the community 46 years ago.
