Cape Girardeau Police recently responded to the 900-Block of Jefferson for a report of shots fired. Officers arrived on scene and collected evidence consistent with shots being fired. Throughout the investigation, officers observed damage to two residences and a vehicle in the area from the shots that were fired. The suspects fled the area prior to officer’s getting on the scene and are still on the run.This is an ongoing investigation and anyone with information pertaining to this investigation is encouraged to contact the Cape Girardeau Police Department.
