The Missouri Department of Natural Resources has issued a permit to construct the Kennett Board of Public Works Solid Waste Transfer Station in Dunklin County.The facility will operate as a solid waste transfer station, transferring municipal solid waste from collection vehicles to long-haul carriers for transport to permitted disposal facilities and will be located south of Missouri Route 84 in Kennett.
