An accused killer 39 year old Brian Morrell in Scott County faces a new charge after authorities say he tried to escape from jail. According to court documents, Morrell escaped from his housing unit and hid in a cart of dirty laundry on August 1, 2024.Morrell has been in the Scott County Jail since April 2024 on charges of first-degree murder and armed criminal action.
