Cape Girardeau Police responded to the 2000-Block of N. Sprigg St. for a burglary. Officers arrived on scene and saw the front door of the home had been forced open. Officers located the victim hiding inside. The victim described the suspect as a dark skinned black male wearing a red hooded sweatshirt. The victim also said the suspect was armed with a gray color AR style rifle and stole approximately $180.00 in cash and hasn’t been arrested yet.
