Cape Girardeau Police recently responded to the intersection of Bloomfield and Louis St.for a robbery. The victim informed officers he was waiting near the bus stop when a green Kia Sol driving east on Bloomfield, drove by and the victim, being familiar with the occupants waved at them. The vehicle then made the block and returned to where the victim was standing. The victim approached the vehicle not expecting any trouble. Not so as two men got out of the car and demanded money. The victim refused. He was kicked and punched and the robbers drove away. Using the FLOCK system an officer wa able to track down the getaway vehicle. The driver and the two men are in custody.
