In court documents filed this week the Jackson R-II school district denied the allegations regarding a 7th-grade student and her mother in November 2024 saying the student created a threatening social media post and was suspended for 6 months. The lawsuit alleges the student’s constitutional rights are being trampled.The school district has also filed a suit to have the case heard in federal court.
