The Cape Girardeau Police Department has updated the push-alert notification system to send text messages and emails to keep our community updated about crimes, wanted suspects, road closures as well as critical incidents with an updated Cape Girardeau PD app.Anonymous tips can be sent to police, too. Officers viewing the tip can reply to create an anonymous two-way conversation. Individuals without a smartphone can still share information with CGPD by sending an anonymous text tip via cell phone by texting keyword CAPEPD and their message/tip to 847411 (tip411).
