The Cape Girardeau Police Department is investigating a fatal head-on collision that happened Thursday morning at the 700 – Block of South Mount Auburn. One car was traveling northbound on South Mount Auburn and another southbound when they collided killing a 27 year old and injuring a 49 year old and child aged 7 all of Cape Girardeau and Jackson.
