Annually, Missouri loses nearly 200 veterans to suicide, according to data from the U.S. Veterans Department. Missouri’s veteran suicide rate is one of the highest in the whole country. Seven out of every 100 veterans experience post-traumatic stress disorder, and thousands of veterans die by suicide every year.
