The newly elected county officials for Cape Girardeau County will be sworn in during a ceremony on Monday, December 23. The following officials will be sworn in at 9:30 a.m. at the County Commission Chambers, on the third floor of the courthouse, 101 Court Street in Jackson. Associate Commissioner-Elect Dist. 1 Associate Commissioner-Elect Dist 2 Sheriff-Elect Assessor-Elect Treasurer-Elect Public Administrator-Elect and the Coroner-Elect. They will take office on January 1.
