Just a few days ago officers with the Cape Girardeau Police Department responded to the 800-Block of Morgan Oak Street in reference to shots fired. Officers arrived on the scene and learned one victim had received a gunshot wound to his leg. The victim was transported to an area hospital for treatment. During the investigation, officers learned that the victim and suspect were in a relationship and had previously gotten into an argument. Officers located and arrested the suspect identified as, Shaquya Craddock (31) of Cape Girardeau. Officers also recovered the firearm that was allegedly used along with additional evidence. Craddock is currently being held on a $100,000 cash-only bond.
