Sikeston Tax Statements

The City of Sikeston sent out tax statements Wednesday, Nov. 20th which means personal property and real estate taxes are due by Dec. 31. There is a one percent penalty per month and $1 per month vehicle penalty for the number of assessed vehicles if paid after Dec. 31. You might not have received a tax bill if you didn’t live here Jan. 1, 2024, you didn’t have a vehicle in your name Jan. 1 of the current tax year, you own real estate and the taxes are to be paid through your escrow account. Meanwhile, if you haven’t received a tax statement by the end of this month contact the collector’s office at 573-471-2193.
