A Missouri lottery player who forgot to bring his lunch to work one day last month wound up winning 3 million dollars as a result. The unidentified man got a phone call from his wife about the forgotten lunch, so he went to a grocery store in eastern Missouri’s Jefferson County to pick up something to eat and while there decided to buy a 30-dollar scratchers ticket. He scanned the ticket before leaving the store and received the message “Lottery Winner,” and scored the ticket’s top prize.
