46 year old Johnny Lee Phillips, Jr. was convicted of three felonies in connection with a 2017 shooting in the Bootheel. According to a news release from the Dunklin County Prosecuting Attorney’s Office, Phillips, Jr. was found guilty of shooting a man on November 19, 2017 at the corner of North Walnut and Washington Street. He is being held without bail until his sentencing hearing on January 13.
