Missouri voters will get to decide November 5th whether the state’s minimum wage should be 15-dollars-an-hour by 2026. Proposition A would also include annual wage increases based upon national economic measures and require employers to provide one hour of paid sick leave for every 30 hours worked. Kara Corches (cor-chez), the interim president and CEO of the Missouri Chamber of Commerce, says the group opposes the plan because it would increase costs and liability for businesses.
