SE MO State University President Resigns

After nearly 10 years as President of Southeast Missouri State University, Carlos Vargas, Ph.D., announced he will leave the University as President. According to a release from SEMO, Dr. Vargas will leave as President effective June 30, 2025, the end of the 2024-2025 academic year. The Board of Governors will begin a national search soon after for a replacement.
