A former Scott County teacher 39 year old Lindsey Limbaugh accused of having sexual contact with a student in Cape Girardeau County during a field trip in May 2023 appeared in court on Monday. According to online court records, Limbaugh waived her formal arraignment and pleaded not guilty. Her bond was reduced to $5,000 on the condition that she not have contact with the victim. A case review was scheduled for September 23.
