On Friday a Cape Girardeau County Sheriff’s Office deputy stopped a gray and white Chevrolet van heading northbound on Old Orchard Rd in Cape Girardeau, MO. The driver, Quanishia Brooks, was found to have an outstanding no-bond felony warrant from Scott County, Missouri. Brooks was wanted on thirteen counts of 1st-degree assault related to a shooting incident at a dance studio in Sikeston, MO. Brooks was arrested by the Cape Girardeau County Sheriff’s Office and subsequently handed over to Scott County authorities to face her charges.
