Cairo Housing Project

It has been five years since two public housing facilities in Cairo, Illinois were torn down for unsafe conditions, and now the community is welcoming a new 3D-printed duplex housing project to help rebuild.“We haven’t had anything built in this community in over 50 years,” said Ronnie Woods, Cairo High School math teacher. Officials say the project will offer housing to displaced residents from the Elmwood and McBride public housing demolition in 2019. Prestige Project Management leadership team donated the housing complex to Cairo.
